"Aside from the BBQ, they also have a bunch other Korean cuisine choices. I try the stew and the ginseng chicken, taste good but it depends on how familiar are you with Korean dishes (probably the flavor here is very Korean). Place is very comfortable"

"I’ve been to over 50 Korean restaurants around the world, and this one is definitely up there with the best. Since I was traveling solo, I couldn’t order too much, but the kimchi jjigae, yukgaejang, and gimbap I had were all spot on. Even the side dishes were surprisingly better than the restaurants I’ve had visited in Korea. I saw some negative reviews for this restaurant, but honestly, I don’t agree with most of them. If you’re Korean visiting Jakarta, or a local who wants to try authentic Korean food, this place is a must. The staff were super friendly, they refilled the banchan without me even asking, the place was clean, and the vibe inside was really nice. Everything was just great—I’d totally recommend it!"

"Sept 2025 Saturday lunch 2 of us Coming here bcs of a friend recommended for the bingsoo… Atmosphere: typical korean restaurant, have few private dining rooms as well Service: 9/10 they know what to recommend and they can cook for you at the table Foods: 8.5/10 bingsoo for sure one of the best in Jakarta, sweet beef also very tender n juicy. Japchae also delicious. Will come back for the bingsoo for sure"

"Tried this authentic K-restaurant in wahid hasyim area. They have excellent variety of menu items like gamjatang and samjatang which you don’t quite often find in Jakarta! Their serving portions are very generous. Recommended K-restaurant for your next K-food craving"

"Comforting korean food. We ordered tuna and seafood kimchi jjigae, yangnyeom chicken, galbi, jumeokbap, japchae, kimchi jjeon etc. Everything was good but would prefer the kimchi jjeon to be crunchy on the outside."

"Just had a wonderful dining experience at Illua Resto! As you can see from the photo, the table was absolutely loaded with a delicious array of authentic Korean dishes. I loved the variety of banchan. They were fresh and flavorful. Sundubu jiggae was rich and comforting, and the tteokbokki had that perfect balance of spicy and sweet. Japchae was so good! Everything was beautifully presented, making for a truly enjoyable meal. The atmosphere was lively. If you're looking for an authentic and satisfying Korean culinary adventure, Illua Resto is definitely the place to go! Highly recommend!"
